I can’t help crying in the office because I love being at work so much. I know it’s a bit weird, but when I see office items such as my computer monitor screen, my desk organiser, the photocopier and my computer mouse when I turn up for work every morning, I can’t help being overcome with emotion. Do you think this will harm my career given the fact that i’m the CEO of a FTSE 100 company?
The great thing about being the boss is that no matter how strange you are, there’s not really anything anybody can do about it apart from laugh at you behind your back at the pub after work with colleagues. I also cry at work quite a lot but in my case it’s because I wish i’d worked harder at school and got a proper job like becoming a dentist. What I do find however is that even though my colleagues often point at me and burst out laughing when i’m having a tearful moment, I find that I am usually able to get my revenge when it comes to their appraisal and I suggest they need to do extra Microsoft Office Excel training in their own time after work and on weekends.
Hope this helps.
