Han Solo - The W1nners' Club

The type of day you have at the office will vary across different industries, and it’s safe to say that most pictures of people hard at work aren’t very interesting. When your place of work is on the set of the original Star Wars trilogy however, things start to get a little bit more interesting.

We set the W1nners’ Club film buff department the onerous task of scouring the internet in search of iconic behind the scenes images from the making of the original Star Wars trilogy and this is what they came back with; the Lucasfilm office party must’ve been one hell of a blast (off):

1.

Tie Fighter - The W1nners' club

If you’re lucky enough to get to play with toy spaceships all day, you must be doing well to some degree. Our only question is whether this guy has to wear a suit to go with his Tie Fighter.

2.

Carrie Fisher sleeping - The W1nners' Club

Is sleeping on the job allowed in your workplace? Here at The W1nners’ Club we usually grab a quick forty winks in the toilets to avoid getting into trouble.

3.

Luke Skywalker Darth Vader - The W1nners' Club

It can’t be that easy to have to work with your dad every day surely?

4.

Hanging Around Star Wars - The W1nners' Club

Some people’s job is to literally hang about all day in the office……

5.

Princess Leia Luke Skywalker - The W1nners' Club

At least there wasn’t a particularly strict workplace dress code back when they made the original Star Wars films.

6.

R2D2 - The W1nners' Club

You don’t know anything about tough working conditions unless you have to spend all day inside a dustbin. We hear the people that make the TV series Metal Mickey might be looking for new staff by the way…….

7.

Millenium Falcon - The W1nners' Club

It must be hard to explain being late for work when you’re able to make the jump to light speed….

8.

Rebel Fighters - The W1nners' Club

Even the Rebel Alliance has to reconcile its fleet inventory at the end of a hard day’s work.

9.

C3PO - The W1nners' Club

Safety is key in the workplace, so it’s best if you know how to avoid Sand People during the hours of 9am and 5:30pm.

10.

Sir Alec Guinness - The W1nners' Club

No drinking on the job, unless of course it’s Guinness – to avoid any confusion that’s Sir Alec we’re referring to!
