Contractor Agreement

This agreement is made on the 04/03/2017 between Oompah Loompah Building Supplies {the ‘Contractor’} and Willy Wonka Enterprises {the ‘Company’}

The Contractor has entered into an agreement with the Company for the performance of certain works {the ‘Works’}.

The works are hereby agreed as follows:

Construction of a new Chocolate Room:

  • Everything in the Chocolate room will be edible namely: the pavements, the bushes and even the grass. There will be trees made of taffy that grow jelly apples, bushes that sprout lollipops, mushrooms that spurt whipped cream, pumpkins that are filled with sugar cubes instead of seeds, jelly bean stalks, and spotty candy cubes. The main icon of the room will be the Chocolate River where the chocolate is mixed and churned by the waterfall, but must be untouched by human hands to keep the chocolate from receiving impurities from germs.

Construction of a new Inventing Room:

  • The research facility for Mr. Wonka’s new and as of yet insufficiently tested candies such as Everlasting Gobstoppers, Hair Toffee, and Wonka’s greatest idea so far… Three-Course Dinner Chewing Gum.

Construction of a new Nut Room:

  • This room will be where Mr. Wonka uses trained squirrels to break open good walnuts for use in his sweets. All bad walnuts will be thrown into a garbage chute which leads to a furnace that is lit every Tuesday.

Construction of a new TV Room:

  • The Television Room will be home to Mr. Wonka’s latest invention called Project Wonkavision. A giant bar of Wonka chocolate will be sent through the air in a million pieces to appear on a television screen. The bar can then be taken from the screen and consumed.

Additional works:

  • Installation of a mincer for making Blackberry Sausages
  • Butterscotch and Buttergin distillation machine installation
  • 20 million units of Candy-Coated Pencils for Sucking in Class to be placed in warehouse storage
  • Cavity-Filling Caramels (no more dentists!) to be boxed and labelled before shipping.
  • Construction of a Great Glass Elevator to take people anywhere in the factory and must be able to go up, down, sideways, and slant ways.

The Contractor agrees to finish all of the works and furnish all the labour and materials as may reasonably be required to complete the works.

Works will be completed by the dates specified: 04/03/2018

The Contractor agrees to perform this work in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices as laid down by Loompaland Industrial legislation such as playing practical jokes and improvising songs.

The Company agrees to pay the Contractor 50,000 Coco Beans as payment for the full performance of its obligations. This sum will be paid to the Contractor on satisfactory completion of the work in the following manner and on the following dates: 04/03/2017 and not a day before – you know how mischievous these Oompa-Loompas can be.

The Contractor and Company may agree to extra services or work, but any such extras must be set out and agreed to in writing by both the Contractor and the Company.

The Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims or liability arising from the work covered by this contract.

No modification of this agreement will be effective, unless it is in writing and is signed by both parties. This agreement binds and benefits both parties and any successors. This document, including any attachments is the entire agreement between both parties.
